Weekend

We hopped down to Orchard Central on Sat to take a look.
Quite disappointing as compared to Ion...

The only interesting store is the Fruit Paradise Cafe which specialised in fruit tarts.
The tarts are rather pretty and quite yummy =)

Our Road Trip

Thanks to dear Mr Ang for his effort in doing research, we decided to head to this Pangkok Laut Resort.
Never heard before right, no worries i only came to know about this place till he told me too...
Based on all the good reviews, we decided to give it a try... With no regrets =)

Day1
Set off at 5am on thur morning as it's a long drive... We reached the place only at ard 1plus... Parked the car and waited at the resort office for the staff to bring us to the ferry which will send us to the island.

They arranged a very nice, private speedboat to send us there... I'm amazed and totally enjoyed the ride there... I was telling dear I got a good feeling about this place even before reaching... =p

It took us only about 20mins to reach the island. Pangkok Laut resort is actually the only resort on the island. It was a very peaceful and pretty place.

Upon reaching, we were greeted by the staffs and there's a staff assigned to every guests there. Our assigned staff intro us tothe resort and brought us to our room. We took the Hill Villa and gosh, the room was great and i meant real great... with a wonderful view as well…

After admiring our room, we headed to the spa village to check out the rates and booked our spa for the next day... Headed back to the room for a rest and we have some unexpected visitors just outside our balcony.

We spent a good 30mins watching those monkeys playing around... It's quite interesting but from then onwards, we dun dare to even open the door to go out to balcony... Just in case, the monkeys tried to sneak into our room =p

After a good rest (their bed is super comfy), we had a nice dinner at the Feast Village.
3 course meals with nice ambience. Luckily we were on all-meals provided packages, the prices were really outrageous., our dinner cost ard $500rm... Faintz... But the foods were really good!!!

After a nice dinner, we strolled around the resort and back to our room...
The resort staff actually came to prepare the room for us for bedtime... Just imagine, bottle of water by the bedstand, mosquito coil being set up, aroma-stick place by the bedstand, dim lights and soft music... Omg, i can't help but keep "wow-ing" at their service...

Had a dip in our bathtube and enjoying our wine and the room (We always make it a point to bring our own wine, save so much $$) =p

Back

Just came back from our road trip to Malaysia.

It was a blast... Truly enjoyed this birthday and anniversary trip with Mr Ang.

Pangkok Laut Resort is simply awesome.

Movie Night

Caught Harry Potter last night at Lido with the gang.
Well, it was a very long movie... Abit draggy and no excitement...
Some parts were funny though... But really, i almost fall asleep...

I feel that the movies really do not do the book any justice...
Especially to those who never read the book at all.
Oh well, cant expect them to squeeze every details in a 2hrs movie also.
And out of all the 6 episodes, i only liked the first 2...
But still it's a so called "must watch" show...

Anyway, i received a bouquet of flowers yesterday from Mr Ang...

Sweet? Nah...
Coz he made me angry... So it's a form of apology from him...
Not say i dun appreciate, i do really...
But you know sometimes women can be so contradicting...

Hehe i'm going for spa later with fang and tam... So looking forward to it...
I really need a good massage =P

Sat in JB

Headed down to JB on Sat with Mr Ang and his friends.
Traffic wasn't as bad but still there was a bit jam due to the new checkpoint at JB.
It was much further away and you need to go round and round the route.

Wanted to catch a movie but it was quite crowded so we ended up doing window shopping at Jusco there. I dun really like to shop there because sometime after conversion, their clothes are more expensive as compared to Sin. So no point.

After that we headed off for massage, yummy seafoods and to Giant... Mr Ang loves buying fruit juices and fresh milk from their supermarket... It's really much cheaper hehe

Lastly, before going back home, the "must do" thing was to pump petrol and wash car... It's so much worth it to wash car in Jb than in Sin. Their service is way better and it cost the same in Sin except it's in RM...

Happy "Xiao Hei" finally getting a wash =p

NDP Rehearsal.

Been wanting to catch the NDP at the floating platform for the past 2 years but tickets are just sooooo hard to get. Or maybe i dun have the luck hehe

Last Sat, Dearie Mr Ang managed to get tickets for the first full-dressed rehearsal... Yeah!!! Was really excited.

Though it was just a rehearsal, goodies bags were provided as well...
I loved goodies bag!!!!

I kinda enjoyed the show... And the view was really great at night



And most importantly, they are not "stingy" with the fireworks display for the rehearsal!!! It was very pretty =)

Random

Caught Transformers last friday... Loved it...
Dun understand why the critics for it was so bad on the papers...
1 out of 5 popcorn? Nah i think it's worth more than that...

Been slacking alot during the weekends...
Seems like there isn't much things to do in Singapore...
or i'm just plain lazy...

Hmm... I need a break... Soon... =)

Monday Blues

It's Monday again... Arghhh boring~ Monday Blueeeeesssss.....

Weekends just passed by without me knowing it AGAIN...
Mr Ang and me went out town early on Sat morning (which we rarely do so) as he needed to drop by his office for awhile...

We had breakfast + lunch, strolled around in town and catch a movie in the afternoon...

Night in the Museum 2 is definitely way much better as compared to Part 1, in my opinion. Funnier and there are so much more characters as well... =)

Well, had a busy, tired day today...
Glad that sweetie Mr Ang came down to fetch me back home...
Thanks dearie =) At least Monday is not that blueeee anymore.

Weekends

Had a family dinner on sat to pre-celebrate sis's bday. We went over to "zhen fa" steamboat place at Novena for dinner. They have lots of varieties other than steamboat, from bbq to teppanyaki to sushi etc... But I dun really enjoy the food there...
Hmm maybe i'm just not in steamboat mood yesterday... hehe

After dinner, Mr Ang brought me to Lower Peirce reservoir for a stroll. It's quite a nice, quiet place with pretty scenery.

The sun was almost setting by the time we reached there ard 7pm (Well, we had a very early dinner)... Quite a pretty sight...

Simply love the weekends because we get to spend quality time together even though we always didn't do anything much... =p
