2nd fitting
Had my 2nd fitting appointment with Amanda Lee Wedding on Wed.
Tried on a few more white gowns and Miah, my designer came up with a few designs for me to choose this time.
Choosing the prefect gown is such a tedious process.
Fickle-minded me just seems to love everything. From toga to sweet-heart tube, embroidery to ribbon, tulle to taffeta, they all look so pretty...
Miah strongly recommend me to go for tulle style and his 2 designs are in tulle.
After much hestitation, i decided to stick to the design of that white gown that draw me to Amanda Lee wedding in the first place.
Though i love tulle as it gives a very dreamy and princessy style but i keep thinking it will makes me look even fatter because of it's puffiness.
Seriously i'm really afraid that i might made the wrong decision.
Well, we shall see. *cross fingers*

Just hope that the colors i chose look good on me.
Gonna take my measurement in 2 weeks time. Omg now i really need to slim down.

SK11 Facial Spa
Trying to update as much as i can.
Signed up with Sk11 facial spa last week too for their bridal package.
Went down for the first trial last week and have a very good facial done by their therapists.
I took up their bridal package which in my opinion was quite worth the price.
Looking forward to more facial session and say bye bye to bad skin =p

Ramblings
My designer has not reply to my email for more than a week.
and he promised to send me a rough sketch of the gowns one month ago but till
now i have not received anything from him.
I think i need to call him tomorrow to go for the 2nd fitting.
Am i too anxious? Hmm but my 2nd photoshoot is at end of Sept and i have not
started on designing my gowns yet??
I think I'm turning into a bridezilla soon.

I think i must be the most slack bride-to-be around hahaa.
Keep saying that i need to be on diet and yet still keep eating like nobody business. Haii how to slim down!!!!
On a happier note, everything is almost falling in place.
We confirmed our wedding bands last week =)
Happy. After looking and searching for so long and not find any design we both liked.
Bvlgari, Cartier, Tiffany, Love and Co, Lee Hwa... Nothing caught our eyes.
So finally we decided to drop by Ling jewellery to take a look after hearing rave reviews on their rings online.
We were served by Andrew and he was very nice to bring us around the store and show us all the design of rings available.
They have really unique and pretty rings. Below are a few i personally liked
The transformer rings that we can wear as a pendant or wear as a ring
The lockit collection that will be custom-made to fit nicely together with the engagement ring. I really like this but Mr Ang said it's not really feasible for everyday wear =(
These are the rings that we shortlisted. Mr Ang prefer something very simple so he chose the below while i like the one with all "blings" at the side. And most importantly, the prices fall within our budget =)
Rushing off for a dinner therefore we make another appointment to go down again to make confirmation for the rings. Headed down last Thur and another beautiful ring caught my eyes from the Eternity collection, Mr Ang also commented that it is pretty so i have a change of mind at the last min.
Andrew has been very patient with us throughout as i can't seem to make up my mind which to take. Seriously till now i still not very sure about my decision because i loved all the designs hahaa.
Now looking forward to the collection of the rings 3 months later =p
P.S. I may be getting my "jia zhuan" from there too maybe i can choose another ring haha

Hot journey
It's almost Jun!!!
May has been a long tiring month, all because of my yoga hot journey.
Joined the hot journey with hui and serene to challenge ourselves as well as for me to lost some weight.
30 hot classes in 30 days. Shack. I have another 2 more classes to go to complete my journey.
Sad to said there's no weight loss!!! Omg... But at least I feel leaner... Maybe :p
Jia you... Really have to lose some weight for my 1st photoshoot in July

Wedding Shows
We attended 3 wedding shows till date.
1.Grand Copthorne Waterfront
(We paid and the next day, the wedding co-ordinator called and said our date has been taken up by the first party -_-)
2.Intercontential
(Mark and Persis choosen this hotel for their wedding, we just kpo-ing so went down together with them)
3.Pan Pacific Hotel
(Amanda Lee Wedding Show - Going down to see if i can get a good price for Amanda Lee)
Actually wedding shows are quite interesting, the foods are nice and there's fashion shows and good lucky draws prices as well.
But too bad, we did not win any. Better luck next time =)
Heading down to Mandarin Oriental this coming Sunday.

BlueBay Wedding
BlueBay Wedding - We decided to go Taiwan for our pre-wedding photos. Yeah!!
No intention of going overseas in the first place.
But dear Mr Ang saw how much i liked their photos and he likes it as well.
So we decide to just go for it.
Date has been fixed and we flying off in July.
Hoping ours will be as good as what we saw... =p
Bridals adventure
Recent months, i have been doing lots of research on weddings. Feel like a pro now haha..
From hotels to bridals to photography etc. It's really very overwhelming.
Hotels searching have been narrow to only 2 now, so the most headache part is the bridal studio.
Mr Ang said decision lies with me as most importantly i must like the gowns.
But i can't seems to make up my mind what i like.
There are really alot of different bridal studios around and thanks to singaporebrides forum, you will be able to have lots of information as well as see and hear alot of scary hard-sell tactics some bridal studios use.
Actually the very first bridal studio we approached was during a bridal show at Suntec.
It was organised by one particular bridal studio along the Tanjong Pagar stretch.
We seriously got no idea what we looking for so decide to go take a look, thinking it's a massive wedding show.
Spend like 2hrs there listening to the sales coordinator showing and telling us their photos and packages. Don't really like his style as he was very pushy and insisted we should sign on the spot.
Mr Ang and I make it very firm that we wouldn't sign without looking around and comparing.
The sales coordinator told us that out of 10 customers 9.5 will sign with him on the spot.
I was rolling my eyes when i heard that. Nevertheless we still politely said we need to consider and walked off.
I really think that all BTBs should never sign on the spot with any bridal studios without going to their studios and try on their gowns as well as compared before making any decision.
Marriage is a once in a lifetime event, we should always have the best =p
