We attended 3 wedding shows till date.

1.Grand Copthorne Waterfront
(We paid and the next day, the wedding co-ordinator called and said our date has been taken up by the first party -_-)
2.Intercontential
(Mark and Persis choosen this hotel for their wedding, we just kpo-ing so went down together with them)
3.Pan Pacific Hotel
(Amanda Lee Wedding Show - Going down to see if i can get a good price for Amanda Lee)

Actually wedding shows are quite interesting, the foods are nice and there's fashion shows and good lucky draws prices as well.

But too bad, we did not win any. Better luck next time =)

Heading down to Mandarin Oriental this coming Sunday.

BlueBay Wedding

BlueBay Wedding - We decided to go Taiwan for our pre-wedding photos. Yeah!!

No intention of going overseas in the first place.
But dear Mr Ang saw how much i liked their photos and he likes it as well.
So we decide to just go for it.

Date has been fixed and we flying off in July.
Hoping ours will be as good as what we saw... =p

Bridals adventure

Recent months, i have been doing lots of research on weddings. Feel like a pro now haha..
From hotels to bridals to photography etc. It's really very overwhelming.

Hotels searching have been narrow to only 2 now, so the most headache part is the bridal studio.
Mr Ang said decision lies with me as most importantly i must like the gowns.
But i can't seems to make up my mind what i like.

There are really alot of different bridal studios around and thanks to singaporebrides forum, you will be able to have lots of information as well as see and hear alot of scary hard-sell tactics some bridal studios use.

Actually the very first bridal studio we approached was during a bridal show at Suntec.
It was organised by one particular bridal studio along the Tanjong Pagar stretch.
We seriously got no idea what we looking for so decide to go take a look, thinking it's a massive wedding show.

Spend like 2hrs there listening to the sales coordinator showing and telling us their photos and packages. Don't really like his style as he was very pushy and insisted we should sign on the spot.

Mr Ang and I make it very firm that we wouldn't sign without looking around and comparing.
The sales coordinator told us that out of 10 customers 9.5 will sign with him on the spot.
I was rolling my eyes when i heard that. Nevertheless we still politely said we need to consider and walked off.

I really think that all BTBs should never sign on the spot with any bridal studios without going to their studios and try on their gowns as well as compared before making any decision.

Marriage is a once in a lifetime event, we should always have the best =p

Happy 30th Bday to Mr Ang

Hehehe fickle-minded me decided to move back to old home.
Blogspot is still easier to blog =p

So i moved everything back to my blogspot. haha

Had a quiet birthday celebration for Mr Ang this year at Sentosa. Our initial plan to Japan has been cancel due to the recent mishaps.

Therefore, decided not to travel overseas instead we had a quiet 3d2n at The Sentosa Spa and Resort to enjoy some quality time together.

No more headaches over work, wedding preparation etc. Just enjoying each other's company and also the peaceful environment =)

Random

Suppose to be flying on 31st of March to Japan but due to the recent disaster that was happening there, we decided to cancel the trip.

Luckily we were able to get full refunds for both our hotels and air tickets. Haii disappointed, as was really looking forward to this trip with the gers and Mr Ang.

Let's pray for people in Japan and was glad that things are starting to get better over there. We are really very fortunate to be living in such a safe country, Singapore.

Well on a happier note, though Japan trip has been cancelled, I will be going to Taiwan in July!!!!!

Hehehe the only confirmation me and Mr Ang have made for our wedding is that...
We are going to Taiwan for our pre-wedding photography....

Excited!!!!!

There's so many things to do for the wedding and i'm doing most of the research from hotels to bridals studio to photographers so that i can shortlist and get Mr Ang to choose. Lots of things to take into consideration especially when $$$ is involved.

Just few days ago, we were doing up our wedding budget and Mr Ang almost fell off his chair when he saw the total amount. Hahaha. It's gonna be a stressful and busy year.

Hotels Searching

It's been awhile. Been hotels searching for the past 1 month.
Actually we only been to 4 different hotels as most of them do not have the dates we wanted.

1.Grand Copthorne Waterfront
2.Marine Mandarin
3.Pan Pacific
4.Mandarin Oriental.

We only left with Mandarin and Oriental as both GCW and Pan Pac were taken up by corporate event.

Mr Ang was still considering which to take. Even though i pretty much prefer Oriental because of their available themes and good reviews of their foods but then price wise, Mandarin is more within our budget.

Do not wish to burst our budget for that.
So i leave decision to Mr Ang.

Hoping to make confirmation asap. if not alot things cant fall in place

Choosing the Wedding Day

The very first step is to choose an auspicious date for our wedding day.

We waited till after the Lunar CNY before we can set up an appointment to meet the Aunty that was recommended by Mr Ang's dad.

So on Valentine's Day, we headed down to Toa Payoh with his parents to meet up with Aunty. She helped us to choose a good date for our wedding day based our birth dates and zodiac signs. We were given 3 days.

Now is the venue for the wedding dinner. "Headache" as i think most of the hotels are already fully booked for this year.It will not be easy to get the dates we wanted.

Sent out 16 emails to 16 hotels today. Hopefully we can get the dates we wanted.

We really like 1st of Jan 2012. As it's the date he proposed to me as well as our anniversary falls on the 1st as well.

Valentine's Day

A simple affair

Lunch.Dinner.

Just by spending quality time together.

Anyway Mr Ang dun really like to celebrate V-day also =p

His Proposal

Yes. Mr Ang had finally proposed after 3yrs and 5mths together =)

Therefore here i am wearing my "bling bling" and blogging every details down to keep as our memories

Come to think of it, my blogspot had been around ever since we have been together. So initially i want do up a separate blog but it's quite a hassle maintaining 2 blogs as you tend to neglect one of them. Hehe

To many of my close friends who know, he had proposed on the 1st of Jan 201.
Symbolise one and only (as what he said)

He keep saying that his initial plan is to propose to me during jay chou's countdown concert but think he got cold feet hehe...

So in the end, he did it in our hotel room. Caught me by surprise

Location: San JoseHotel: Moorpark Hotel
And yes, he kneeled and ask the magic words. Hearts***
