Meet Up

Had been attending training last few days... Was glad to take a break out of work...
It was an interesting course and had meet really nice people during these few days...

Meet up with a couple of friends over the last few days as well...

First of all was with Regina, Serene and Xuehui on thur... Was really glad to catch up with them as it's been quite a while since our last meetup...



Fri was out with Daniel for wine tasting @ wine network... Had some catching up with my batch mates as well as they came over to Dempsey... Reali loved meeting up with these bunch of ppl coz there's always lots of laughter over the table... =)

Sat was spent with Mr Ang...

Meetup with him after his exams then we went down to Sim Lim Square to get casing for his iphone but they were selling at ridiculous price so we gave up and decided to go elsewhere to buy...

Intended to go East Coast for lunch... But decide to head down vivo city for lunch cum dinner instead coz i have craving for steamboat hehe... There's this new steamboat place just near the Daiso area level 3... The place has reali excellent view of Sentosa plus the price was quite reasonable...

We went all the way to Bukit Gombak after dinner as he insisted to buy the "Invisible Shield" casing that was only available there...

And to Bukit Panjang later on...



It was a tiring day... While we on our way home, guess wat PIE was closed!!! And there was a massive jam...

Mr Ang was highly amused by the fact that the expressway can be closed... All vehicles had to exit Lornie Road coz they actually seal up the section after Lornie exit... He kept hoping that maybe the traffic police will let us pass or maybe they just trying to trick ppl to avoid more cars on the road... Haha

I Miss Zouk

Here i am, on a Monday night at AMK Macdonald keeping Mr Ang company while he's studying for his exam... Weird hor... Hmmmm... Luckily i have a laptop... So i decided to do some blogging...

Recently the tv was advertising the new Back to the Old Skool cd.... Well it kinda reminds me of mambo night @ zouk. It's been a long time since i went down to Zouk on wed night for mambo jumbo... Really miss the place sometime.

I stepped into the clubbing scene when i'm 16... Young hor haha and that was like 9yrs ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The time when Sparks (the takashimaya carpark one rem) was still very popular... But guess wat, my first ever club i been to was actually Canto tea-party!!!!!!! With my sec school frenz when i'm 14???...

Not a nice experience for me... I can still vividly remember seeing alot of ppl shaking heads to the music that time... Ecstasy was in that time... And never do i understand why these ppl never get giddy one... But it was an one-time off coz i told myself never to go there again

After i turned 18... It was Zouk... From dance floor to podium dancing... Been thru and done that... After all these years, Zouk is still my all-time fav club... But also not to forget places like Chinablack, Ridleys, Samsara, Mdm Wong and Mdm Wong II where they were also once the more happening clubs in town.... Mm those were really the days.

Now when i'm older, i still prefer conservation over wine, or chilling out...

But sometime, jus sometime a small part of me still wanting to go out and club like good old times... hehe...

Lesson Learnt

Never hope, assume, expect too much and never compare.

Then there will never be disappointment

But sometimes its difficult not to have expectations especially if u feel that you

have actually put in effort.

Well i have learnt my lesson.

Mr Ang's Bday Celebration

Well, i'm reali glad that the celebration went quite well on Sat =)

It's Mr Ang's bday on the 14th, so i decided to plan a surprise party for him... So sweet right haha =p

Initially, was intending to book a chalet, but it was all fully booked, so therefore i booked a hotel room and got his frenz there to surprise him. Luckily i got a very enthusiastic Shawn to help me contacted the rest and made arrangement with them.

So last Sat, we went early to prepare everything, putting up the decor and the blowing up the blue and red balloons (y these 2 colors? coz it's from my office haha). Oh ya, the view from the room was reali good and the room was even bigger than i tot it will be... Great!

So around 730, i went down to Raffles City to meet Mr Ang, telling him we going for dinner at city hall. The guys hide in the balcony while i lead him into the room... So he walked into the room... pulled open the curtains to see the "view"... "Ta dang" there they were.... hehehe

Irritating him said he kinda expected it... But I know he's still feel surprise and happy hor... After that we went for dinner at the Stamford place... Curry Favor

Back to the hotel room for drinks after dinner. Well spend lots of time taking photos... Coz the view was really splendid... Just imagine you are at the 56th storey, overlooking the Singapore flyer and the city. Hmmmm....





Drinking starts right after the cake cutting... hahaha...

After a few rounds of Indian Poker, few were down including the bday boy of coz. Well the drinks were pretty disgusting as always... But at least there's no Baileys around this time... =p Cant really rem we played till what time, coz everyone just fell asleep like that...




Was up early the next morning... The early morning scenery was very nice as well... Hehe, oh ya specially wanna thanks everyone for attending, Shawn and his gf Yiling, Serene, Weelian and gf, Alvin Lee, Jesmond and Joanne... =)



Passed him his present on Sunday... Hehe... Glad that he loves it... Finally there's one present that i gave him and he wun put in the cupboard and keep for future use!!!

Well i officially joined Persis in her "taxi club" haha

On wed, i took a cab to training, and guess wat it cost me $26 and this morning,
it cost me $30... Faintz...

I seriously need help...

Home Sweet Home

Dad was back from the states on sat night... Finally the whole family can get together again... =)

Was out driving Dad around on Sunday to see how Singapore has changed over the past 3years. Wow, then do i realised that Singapore really change alot, it reali amazing how the country progress these years...

Dad's back but that also means i'm car-less... Sadz
Wonder how m i going to work from today onwards. Hoping, juz hoping he will get me a car... Hehe i dun even mind a 2nd hand one =p

Oh ya, he brought back my benefit stuffs from the states, i haven start using them but they seems adorable hehe... =)

Was out drinking with my batch mates at Alleybar on Monday night, some of them are still around in the company while some had already left, seeking better prospects outside. Haii it makes me wonder y m i still stuck here!!!!

There's a big part of me wanting to leave this place as there no progression for me at all, at least not for the time being but on the other hand, i reali have no idea what i want to do in life and where to go. Sad case right...

The small part of me wanting to stay on and prob hope for miracles as i have reali nice working colleagues here and i'm so into my comfort zone, which i know it's not good at all and worst, i just have no motivation at my present state.

Living life to the fullest, this is what i used to tell myself.
But here i am wasting my time away... Lousy
Really need to buck up!!!!
